Jaylan El Zoheiry: PHD in Business Administration
Jaylan is a Marketing Management University Professor in Cairo. She graduated from the
American University in Cairo and started her career in Marketing with Procter and Gamble
Egypt. Later on she moved to work with P&G in Europe where she finished her post-graduate
studies and returned to continue her career with P&G Cairo. Since she loves teaching, she
decided on a career change and started teaching marketing management to university

students 3 years ago. She discovered, while teaching older students, that her passion and dream was to also teach young
people so she obtained a diploma in child psychology to help her
deal with children with proficiency. She is now running the Helen
O'Grady Academy in Cairo with her partner Principal Maija Lamu.

Maija Lamu: Montessori Education Program International (MEPI) Degree
Maija is originally from Finand but has been living in Egypt for the past 8 years. She started
her career as a Professional Tennis Player which gave her the opportunity to live among
different cultures from all over the world. She used to coach tennis players starting from 5
years old all the way up to youth players. She realized that her passion and edge is in
teaching especially children and accordingly studied the Montessori degree. She has an
experience teaching a wide range of students in Cairo and Finland. After specializing in
teaching Finnish language abroad, she also become the directive teacher of the Finnish
School in Cairo. Maija now runs, with her partner Jaylan, the Helen O'Grady Drama
Academy in Cairo.
