Principal: Sarah Boulos
In September 1996, I moved to Nigeria, a country rich in  diversity and culture which awakened my spirit and allowed me to face an adventure filled with challenges as a wife, mother and a business woman. I have always loved the Performing Arts especially drama and dance and started organizing shows for children at my home. My boarding school years coupled with 15years of ballet classes were mostly spent on the French theater stage in which I performed as the main character of most of Moliere s plays and the Famous "Petit Prince' from St Exupery. During my teen years, I often created different children stories which I staged with a cast of ten to 12 peers and managed most of the events I performed with. I believe our purpose starts from the experiences of our childhood, and my dedication to see the children of this generation find their God given purpose has grown exponentially since i founded SPAN. Ultimately, I look forward to see our brilliant and future stars shine on the SPAN stage in Lagos where we envision building a state of the art performing art center combined with our performing art institution in Nigeria.

A Halloween performance and a Christmas carol was staged by 30 children in my garden. These children were dedicated, creative, thrilled and driven with excitement knowing they will perform on stage with adults and children as their audience.

In May 2003, as I was searching for my purpose in life and looking into different options, a vision came to me and my prayers were answered; “ Children deserve to develop their talent and be creative through learning and exposure to the arts”. SPAN will provide opportunity for all persons in Nigeria. It will set the standard for the performing arts in Nigeria and will give our citizens the opportunity to experience the thrill of Broadway by awakening their spirit, reviving their culture expressively and creatively.

Performing wonders…… – that became SPAN’s ambition and goal, and this has driven many of our activities in the past 5years of our existence.
